Resistant vegetable varieties
Varieties of vegetables vary in their susceptibility to pest and disease attack. Those that show some resistance are a valuable means of overcoming a specific, regular problem or to avoid one, such as cucumber mosaic virus, that has no cure. Resistant varieties should be used as part of an overall pest and disease management strategy. They are less susceptible, but not immune, to attack.
